This Ficus bonsai is a classic evergreen species widely found across Asia. Known for its resilience and adaptability, it is one of the most popular choices for bonsai enthusiasts. Although it is often regarded as an indoor bonsai, it will only thrive indoors if placed in a very bright location with plenty of natural light.
During the winter season, it should be kept indoors, but from May to September/October, it can also enjoy outdoor conditions if desired, which often strengthens its foliage and overall health.
This impressive specimen has a waist of 68 cm and is 25 years old, making it a mature, well-developed bonsai with strong visual presence.
